I'm on Windows 10 and the latest version of Studio One 5. To summarise, I can't get any MIDI note information at all from the Launchpad, regardless of how I try and set it up in Studio One. This Launchpad works fine in Live 10 and Bitwig Studio: quitting Studio One and running either of those two DAWs everything is fine, which seems to suggest neither the Launchpad, the USB cable or the USB port are to blame, so there must be some issue with the way I'm setting it up in Studio One. One-setup but this is for the Launchkey and following all of the steps in there did not work either, either to set up as a standard MIDI keyboard or as a controller. Presonus support directed me to this URL. When selecting it as a Control Surface, to receive from MIDIIN2, and clicking MIDI Learn, some of the Launchpad controllers will send Controller Data Increment messages but there's no MIDI note messages, even when set up as a Control Surface and a Keyboard. Below is a list of all controller scripts/extensions that are included with Bitwig Studio. I can't access the "Note" button on the Launchpad to change to a different layout and none of the other controls work. Turning off the Launchpad, clicking "Reconnect" and activating it again shows some initial sysex messages but then there is no note on\off. Opening the MIDI monitor and playing notes shows no MIDI. Creating an instrument track with the default preset of Mai Tai I can confirm that MIDI is transmitting and Mai Tai is playing when using the QWERTY keyboard - but selecting the Launchpad there is no MIDI received at all. I'm hoping someone will be able to offer some advice with getting my Novation Launchpad Pro working as as MIDI controller in Studio One 5 please.īasically, I have tried set it up as a New Keyboard in Options > External Devices to "Receive From" on all channels, with no filtering and no target for "Send To".
